About the Company - Our Friends
Renee Brincks – Copywriting and Editing
Three Twins relied on Renee’s writing and editing skills for most of this website, and she also helps out with our press releases and other content needs. She regularly writes about food, beer, travel and wellness, and she’s a big fan of our ice cream.
Andrew Dudley – Web Design
Andrew is behind the design of this site, and he’s also the founder of one of our favorite websites, Haighteration. He’s been a great neighbor to our store in San Francisco’s Lower Haight, and an important voice and leader in the local community.
Ryan Gibbons – Photography and Videography
Ryan Gibbons of A Way Out Productions captures the best of Three Twins Ice Cream through his camera lens. His eye for detail make our product shots, factory photos, profiles and other images look truly fantastic. Ryan took most of the images on this site.
We like how Caleb and the staff at La Cocina, a San Francisco incubator kitchen, are changing the market as they help low-income food entrepreneurs launch their own businesses. Plus, they encourage Neal and the crew to sport full-body green spandex suits in public at the annual San Francisco Street Food Festival.
Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center
We wouldn’t be here without the good folks at the Ren Center, a non-profit that provides small business training and support. Neal wrote the Three Twins business plan as a student in the center’s Business Planning Class, which he emphatically recommends to all aspiring entrepreneurs. In 2011, they also named him their Established Entrepreneur of the Year! You watch a video of his acceptance speech here.
Taylor and Toponia of Fatted Calf Charcuterie are great friends and neighbors in the Oxbow Public Market, and we love visiting their San Francisco location in Hayes Valley, as well.
Many of Three Twins’ fabulous, organic ingredients are sourced by Multiple Organics, a San Rafael company that shares many of the same environmental priorities that are important to us.
Scotty Birdsall of Chuckles Garage is the man who pimped our organic ice cream truck, Carl. And we love him for it.
The AAdvantage Forum of FlyerTalk
Founding Twin Neal Gottlieb flies American a lot. He’s banked more than two million frequent flyer miles, he was a finalist in the airline’s 2011 Road Warrior Contest, and he often keeps an eye on FlyerTalk conversations for tips on making his travel experiences even better.
